Connacht Rangers World War One Medals

Here are the medals awarded to Paddy Holmes during his service in world war one. The one on the right is known as the Victory medal and the one on the left is the British War medal. He was station in France.

The Foxford Ramblers who participate in the Nephin Hike for Hope House. The group was unable to climb Nephin today due to the bad weather. So they climbed a different mountain.
